Happy 4th of July ya’ll! I’m finally home in Idaho, enjoying a weekend with the fam. Got up early and went for a run this morning. It felt great to be back on my old running route. I’ve missed it. Then I came home and made this Triple Berry Protein Shake with the fantastic (you know I love this stuff!) Mommi Protein Powder. It was the prefectrefreshing shake on this HOT day after a nice 4 mile run. Then I did some P90X yoga with the siblings and ran a few errands. We’ve got lots of exciting adventures planned for the weekend…family pictures, boating at the lake and a bbq. Should be pretty great times. I’ll be posting some great 4th of July recipes tomorrow so stay tuned for those and…HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!

Triple Berry Protein Shake
10 ice cubes
3 large strawberries
15 blueberries (or ~1/3 cup of large blueberries)
1/2 cup skim milk (or milk of choice)
1/2 packet Chocolate Mommi Protein Powder (or use a whole packet & double the other ingredients)
