We have been looking forward to sharing Susan’s pregnancy story for a few weeks now! For one, how cute are her baby bump and ultra sound pics??? Secondly, most of the time we hear from mamas that are sick, uncomfortable and have no energy almost the entire 40+ weeks of their pregnancy and we can relate – that’s why we wanted to improve prenatal nutrition in the first place! It’s not always easy for us preggos to get our vitamins – especially when we aren’t feeling well. Susan, on the other hand is having an awesome pregnancy and we couldn’t be happier for her! (Even though we admit we are really jealous:)
Here is her story in her own words.
Susan Crutcher
I am 30 years old, & expecting my first baby (a boy). I’m due September 3rd. We had a planned pregnancy & it took me 8 months to conceive. The day I found out I was pregnant I was filled with joy. I thought for sure that my first baby would definitely be a girl because my mom is a fraternal twin that has 3 daughters, including myself. Both of my sisters each had 2 daughters as well. So needless to say I was completely shocked when the doctor told me I was having a boy. But no matter what I was already in love, & it really didn’t matter to me either way. I decided to name him Aiden Layne Bates. I have been blessed with a VERY smooth, symptom-free pregnancy this entire time. I love being pregnant! So much so, that even though I will be elated to finally hold my son after I give birth, it will be bitter sweet that I will no longer be pregnant….at least until I try for a girl. 😉
Congratulations Susan and husband! This baby Aiden has a wonderful life to look forward to! We wish you the best of luck the last few months of your pregnancy and hope it continues to go smoothly!
